   I got this to accompany my nerdy Spock movie costume, and it definitely does the trick. This comes with a wig cap that you will likely want to replace, as it is flimsy and has large gaps (but still technically works). This is actual fake black hair, not the molded vinyl “spock wig” that they also sell on Amazon. It does not come with ears.Poofed up, it’s a little large. I’m a tall person, and it was pretty large on my head. Perhaps it needs some product to tame it, wild beast that it is.

   Every year I dress up as the same thinghey, it works for me, but then a friend’s girlfriend suggested that I come as a different character, a very specific character. So I started looking for the products that would complete the look. I tried on the wig and hey, it’s a wig. Looks good and got a lot of laughs from my girlfriend, so it’s a hit! 🙂

   As others have said, the ONLY minor complaint I had with this wig is that it does need a tad bit of trimming in the front to achieve the Mr.Spock look (a bit long) but no big deal, most inexpensive wigs do.On the plus side, it is the right shape and color. It is also, in my opinion, made fairly well for the price (more expensive in stores for a lesser quality wig). I especially like the way the hair actually tapers in the back as though it were a real bowl cut—rather than all of the hair just hanging down in the back and cut all one length (horrific wigs like that do exist unfortunately–thank goodness I found this one instead). I also thought it fit amazingly…with extra wiggle room for those of us who have a decent amount of hair on our heads to conceal.Overall, a good wig at a great price–in full costume, it definitely did the trick 🙂

   For fitment and quality – it comes in one size i’d say I have a medium sized head not sure of my hat size) and it fit nicely. The material and pin are good quality but the hair is a bit bulky in some places and requires brushing down a bit. I wore it for four hours at an inside cosplay while walking around and I didn’t get too hot so the wig breathed fairly well.    6’3 with a big knoggin. Keeps the heat in but sheds a lot. Worth the like $15. Needed to form and cut it a bit to get it right but that’s pretty normal.

   I needed the wig for a show I am in as Spock and decided not to go for a high end wig/hairpiece because I would have to trim it to the Spock look (and then it wouldn’t be any good for other shows). This wig looks pretty good and fits me fine. If you have a large head ( I think that my hat size is about 7-1/4 to 7-1/2 ?), it might be too small.

   Served the purpose. It was used for a Star Trek themed party. Even we, in the band, was dressed as Star Trek characters. I had ears and went as Mr. Spock.
