I’m a sucker for anything with a Trek logo on it but this really caught my eye. What really sold me was the dual purpose, both as a bedside wireless charger and a portable charger, although I haven’t used that feature as of yet.Be warned, you have to place your mobile on the ‘sweet spot’ to activate the charging feature. It will take some getting used. Thankfully my Android has a beep sound when it starts charging so I know when I hit the spot. Also, it’s bright. It makes for a good nightlight for those of you who don’t like your room as dark as a Klingon’s heart.I would have given it 5 stars but for the hyper-picky sweet spot. Otherwise, if you like Trek, you need this in your crew quarters. Make it so!

This is a wonderful charger. Like a typical male, I did not really read the instructions. It did take me awhile how to light up the charger. I figured it out before I decided to read the instructions. I will read the instructions in this for better use. Mine came with instructions and probably some people may have lost their instructions and have written a poor review for it. There is a power button to initiate the lighting of Star-fleet Insignia. I like it but have not used it yet. I did like everything new, always charge it prior to use. Any common sensible person would know this is electronic steps 101. Always charge brand new equipment prior to first time use. For any Star Trek fans, I highly recommend this product. It’s fun, beautiful, and the lights are bright. You are capable of manually turning the light off if needed while it is charging. Again, before writing any type of negative reviews about this product, I highly advise reading the instructions first if you are not technologically savvy. It’s simple; charge first, then charge your phone without being plugged in, or charge your phone while it is charging, and manual on/off button for light display.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. We haven’t used it as a wireless battery yet, so I can’t attest to the the efficiency of that, but I can say it lights up and looks very professional. You can hold in the button on the side for a couple seconds to turn the light on and off. It charges a phone with or without the light on. The only negative I can think of is that it doesn’t like to charge a phone with a thick case – my iphone11 with an otter box on it couldn’t get a connection, but my iPhone10 with a thinner case charged just fine. We’re very happy with this charger. I hope it lasts a long time.

For it it looks cool so how well it works is probably secondary. I did drop it, and the top came off and I put it back together easily. Still works fine. This is my first wireless charger to compare, but it seems a pretty slow way to charge the phone compared to just plugging it. Probably similar to other wireless charging. It works. The battery feature works well, too, it holds charge OK when charged and then you can use it to charge the phone on the go without being plugged in. I have not tried to charge wirelessly with the charger plugged in yet. That may be faster. Most important is that it looks really cool, it is a great federation light up charger. I love the LED backlight to really make the logo look great.

State Of The Electric –
I received both a Star Trek and Star Wars chargers for Xmas, but the Star Trek charger is vastly superior. The face lights up, you can charge another phone at the same time, it can also be taken with you as wireless portable charger, while the Star Wars charger has no lights, and you can’t charge two at the same time, or unplug it to use it as a portable charger, and it takes up too much desk space. I pretty much feel the same way about the movies.
