This is the second one I got, the first was accidentally placed in the dishwasher and it was ruined, still works as a mug but the graphics were washed away. as far as the scene changing it is excellent, after filling with hot liquid the crew quickly teleport from the transporter to the planet surface. just to point this out the mug did come with a warning not to use in a dishwasher, but a friend was trying to be helpful and did not know.

My daughter picked this out for my husband’s birthday. He LOVED it! It is so fun to watch them disappear and then reappear on the other side of the mug. My husband has totally geeked out about it! Really sturdy mug. We have only hand washed it and pretty easy to clean. Love love love it!
