This is a nice package deal. All three of the new Star Trek films in one case. I received it for Christmas and thus I am unsure of shipping speeds. For the films themselves:1.) an excellent reboot, they did very well in casting. Chris Pine in particular is a very solid choice for Captain Kirk. Quinta isa great Spock. I could go on and on. Overall, this is the best film of the trilogy.Choppy editing, and unnecessary lens flare hold this back from timeless excellence.2. Fun and stylish but overall a repeat of Wrath of Khan, with antagonist Benedict Cumberbatch, as the franchises most egregiously inappropriate casting. Still highly entertaining.3. They hired the Director of fast and the furious. Expect the same level of demanding thought. Vapid, vacuous, unnecessary. The cast remains excellent, the costuming is top notch, soundtrack solid. The storyline and dialogue are exceptionally weak, compared to the first two entries.I have never been a Star Trek fan, but the first two films have endeared the franchise to me.9/10 would buy and watch again.

First 2 films are excellent, 3rd one is ok. Outstanding picture and Dolby Atmos sound !!!!

This version DOES NOT include all Star Trek Into Darkness bonus features. The 4K UHD disc only has The Mission Continues bonus feature, and the Blu-ray disc only has the original 7 bonus features that were included in the non-retailer-specific Blu-ray release. The Blu-ray release for STID notoriously split up the bonus features across different physical retailers, and this was remedied with the release of Star Trek: The Compendium Blu-ray set of the 2009 film and STID, which has 4 discs (2 movie discs and 2 bonus features discs. The STID bonus feature disc includes all previously split up STID bonus features, including the original 7 that are in this Kelvin Timeline Trilogy set. I just ordered the Compendium to get the extra ~40 or so minutes of STID bonus features that aren’t included in this Kelvin Timeline Trilogy set). Supposedly, the individual STID 4k UHD also includes all bonus features.

Was sold a βnewβ item. Was very obviously a rewrapped product. There were several extra UPC stickers under the shrink wrap, and the case has shelf wear. The disks are fine though.

I bought the Blu-ray + Digital package. The digital streaming codes expired almost two years ago and the Kelvin Timeline poster was not in the case as advertised on the Amazon website. The quality of the discs was fine and the price was a decent β but not great β value when considering the Digital option was not available to me. It is deceptive when vendors start reducing what comes with the package but donβt change the advertising and descriptions.
